Commodity Routes
EDMA turns commodity deals into evidence-gated settlement. Buyers run RFQ (Request for Quote) → award → escrow, suppliers fulfill, and Event/Milestone Tokens (EMTs) mint only when source-signed data confirms a stage (on board, cleared, delivered, assay). No EMT, no funds. Settlement is in $EDM; protocol fee is 0.5% per milestone with caps; 50% of every fee burns. Proof mints are gas-minimal; fees apply only when value releases.
These routes split cleanly by role:
Commodities Buyer: run procurement end-to-end with escrow and EMT-gated tranche releases.
Commodities Supplier: win orders and get paid on proof, lodging port/customs/warehouse/lab evidence to trigger payouts.
Why it matters: this replaces LC-driven paperwork with verifiable events, compresses time-to-cash, and leaves a live, audit-ready lineage for both sides—RFQ → award → escrow → EMTs → tranches → burn.
